Habaneros is great! I love their chimichangas and macho chimichangas! They have evolved with the times and have a vegan menu that I think really puts them a step above the rest. I am planning to go vegetarian next year, so I will be trying that menu then! I really dislike when restaurants don't try very hard with their vegan menu items, so hopefully I'll find out if theirs is actually good. (I'll update next year) Back in the day, Habanero's used to give 'welcome soup' if you dined in. I do not know if they still do, but I hope so! I'm excited to try their seafood menu as well! I think it's great that they have so many options for people with different diets and eating restrictions. Unfortunately I've only eaten chimichangas but that's what I like and they are good! I will try more food items soon, especially before I go Veggie.

Was supper excited to find they offered some vegan options. We ordered the veggie burrito that came with beans and rice and it was so good. The veggies were very tasty. Got it to go but the restaurant looked super cute. Great place to stop on our road trip.

This place is great huge selection. Very tasty food freshly made. The owner is delightful and super helpful and friendly. I especially love that they have many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, which is pretty unusual for a Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces, this places is very accommodating. They do not use lard in their beans and offer lots of choices. It’s obvious that they take pride as the food is quality. We sat out on the patio. It was nicely, shaded, clean, and comfortable. Usually, we get takeout or delivery from here, but today we ate in for the first time and now I know I will be eating here more often. We loved everything. Also the welcome soup is so tasty, which is included with your meal. They had two kinds of soups Fideo with beans and also a lentil soup, vegan. The homemade salsa is delicious. We also asked for and tried their homemade habanero salsa for lots of extra heat and it was perfect. If you love Mexican food and also have any Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free friends or family, this is your absolutely best option for Mexican food in Las Cruces as they have something for everyone and the food will satisfy the carnivores and vegans. Prices are very reasonable too.

Another place I discovered the last time I was in town. So I had to come back. We ordered fajitas supreme and a Mexican bowl. Plenty of free parking. Seating inside or outside. Clean inside and outside. The food was hot and fresh.

O. M. G.... The food is incredible. Ordered Chile Rellenos Plate and Spinach and Artichoke Enchiladas. Vegetarian food is so hard to find. EXCELLENT vegetarian food is cause for celebration! They also have Vegan and meat options. And beer. :)

Fresh, quality food and we loved that there were vegan options. The staff were very pleasant and assured us that the menu items were vegan and started about with a complimentary vegan soup. Cute patio area too. Some music out there I think would be a good addition.

Awesome food! They have a vegan section on their menu. They also have a “Welcome Soup” that is vegan and tastes so good, lentils were on point. They also allow your dogs to chill with you on the porch while you eat, great for us because we live in a van and we’re traveling through. Only downfall I’d say is maybe wish the bean burrito plate was a dollar or two cheaper, simply because it’s just beans and rice with tortilla. But hey, it was freaking good so no real complaints! Worth trying.

Authentic Mexican food. We had lunch here after our White sands visit. Loved the vegetarian options. Flan was one of the best I ever had. Service was good. We had our puppy with us and staff was very accommodating. Must try shrimp, tacos and flan. Highly recommend this place.
